Media Creation - What is it?

Media Creation includes the use of Green Screen Technology, Stop Motion Animation and Digital Storytelling in the Classroom!

Picture
Media Creation in this module consists of the use of green screen technology, stop motion animation and digital storytelling apps and programs available for iPads, laptops and smartphones. These apps are user friendly and  accessible to people of all ages to learn how to use green screen technology, stop motion animation and digital storytelling platforms. You can use these apps across the curriculum to engage students and enhance the presentation of student created projects.

What’s more, Media Creation is part of the maker movement! You can incorporate green screen technology, stop motion animation and digital storytelling in your classroom and connect with people from all over the world to invent  a wide array of digital maker projects, from "on location" weather reports, to stop motion animation book reports, to exploring cultural diversity through digital storytelling. On the connected pages you will be introduced to several apps, websites and programs. We will present some material in depth and provide references for other apps that you can investigate further on your own when you are ready.
